Hot off the release of his latest star-studded album, Grateful, DJ Khaled appears to be everywhere, but he’s also “On Everything.”
To coincide with his new album, Khaled unleashes an action-packed Eif Rivera-directed video for his Big Sean, Travis Scott, and Rick Ross-assisted single.
The cinematic clip is quite extravagant, from La Flame’s chained-up tigers to Rozay’s courtyard boasts of loyalty. “Hey Khaled, I’ll die for you,” says Renzel. “You already know I’d kill for you. Bawse!”
Complete with smoke clouds, neon lights, and gorgeous models, the clip continues with its opulence in an abandoned church, where Sean Don unloads some thinly-veiled jabs, believed to be in response to his “Holy Key” collaborator Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Part 4.”
“Roc-A-Fella chain, but you can still get ethered,” he raps. “Yeah, they don’t really fucking feel me, man / But when you really run it they try and clip your Achilles / I’m on track to a billi, I got Khaled fuckin’ with me / That mean I got the ‘Holy Key’ and got the key to the city, lil’ ni**a.”
Following these battle-ready bars, a slew of gunmen appear to close in on DJ Khaled’s estate. A prepared Khaled looks on, before a “To Be Continued” banner appears.
“On Everything” is just one of the many star-studded bangers off Grateful, which also includes appearances from Beyoncé, Jay Z, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Nas, Alicia Keys, Chance the Rapper, Calvin Harris, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and T.I., among others.
The latest video follows sleek visuals for “I’m the One” featuring Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne, and Quavo, as well as “Wild Thoughts” with Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. A clip for the Nas and La Flame collaboration “It’s Secured” is also expected to arrive soon.
